Enhancements to Action Tracker

Configuration: None

User Limitation: None

Availability: Immediate

Betterview has enhanced the Action Tracker component in an effort to improve the readability and usability of this feature. In this enhanced version, a user can explicitly select the stage of the policy – New Business / Quote, Renewal, Amendment, or Claim – then choose one or many actions specific to that stage. As always, the history of any saved actions will be available for every property in the system.

CAT RS: New and Improved Functionality

Configuration: None

User Limitation: Users must have access to CAT RS product

Availability: Immediate

Betterview CAT RS new and improved functionality includes:

  • Shapefile exports

  • Vulnerability score displays

  • Geospatial layer controller filters

  • Additional filter capabilities

The Shapefile export will allow a user to download the .shp and .kml files for all available geospatial layers within a CAT event. These exports allow a user to recreate layers in their geospatial software of choice.

Betterview has multiple peril specific vulnerabilty scores, including Hurricane, Wildfire, Hail and Wind. The CAT RS system now displays these vulnerability scores for each impacted property, both in the impacted property row.

A user now also has finer control over location specific data, like flood depth or wind speeds observed at individual properties, by using geospatial layer filters to exclude locations that exhibited less than the selected amount of flooding or wind. See below for an example:

Finally, users can filter the full set of impacted properties by damage predictions (partial, severe, safe) or vulnerability score bucket, and users can multi-select filters to review properties with specific Betterview characteristics.
