COPE Layout Defaulted to On

Betterview plans to enable the COPE layout for all users the week of June 19. Users will still be able to toggle between the legacy property profile and the COPE layout by clicking on the COPE layout toggle in the header section of property profiles.

PropertyAction Dashboard Enhancements

Configuration: The Renewal Date field may need to be added to individual property records.

Availability: Immediate

The PropertyAction dashboard presents users with a prioritized list of properties based on the quantity of flags found on those properties. In considering user feedback for this dashboard, Betterview has now added a column to present Renewal Date alongside the property address, allowing users to sort the list of properties by upcoming renewal dates. Betterview has also added a new set of filters which will allow users to find properties that have a renewal date upcoming (next 30-60-90 days) or in a specific upcoming month up to 6 months out from the current date. Finally, Betterview has added a State filter that will allow users to specifically identify a list of properties from within selected States.

Description Fields on Flags

Configuration: Contact support to ensure configuration of Flag descriptions.

Betterview now includes provided Flag descriptions within the Betterview UI for each Flag that was triggered on a property, if the Flag was configured with a description. This description can be any freeform text, like a description of the recommended action that an underwriter can take when the Flag appears, or a simple summary of the flag criteria. Contact Betterview support for assistance in configuring these Flag descriptions.

Enhanced Confidence Scores with Shadow Detections

Betterview has introduced a new detection for shadows on roofs, and it encompasses these detections within the RSI confidence score.

CAT Response: Compare Mode Enhancements

Availability: Immediate

Betterview has enhanced the CAT Response “Compare Mode” feature to now include parcel boundaries, building footprints and individual detections found across the parcel, for both Blue and Gray sky imagery. This will provide a more comprehensive view of individual properties, ensuring users can easily identify the parcel, individual building footprints within that parcel, and the condition of the property before and after CAT events.

Betterview has also added a map control that will allow users to toggle visibility of these map layers.
