Search in CAT-RS

Configuration: None

User Limitation: None

Availability: Immediate for all users with CAT-RS access

A new search option has been added in the left panel under the impacted properties for CAT-RS. Prior to October 20th, there was no search option within CAT-RS Impacted Properties table on an event page.

New Feedback Options: Exposed Deck and Exposed Underlayment

Configuration: None

User Limitation: None

Availability: Immediate for all users with CAT-RS access

There are two new feedback options in the Spotlight Editor section. If the image detections are not capturing Exposed Deck and Exposed Underlayment, they can be selected by a user to indicate when these detections should have been captured. Betterview does not capture these detections specifically today as part of the overall condition score. Today, Exposed Deck and Exposed Underlayment are noted in the Condition Spotlight section. Exposed Deck and Exposed Underlayment are expected to be released as new detections incorporated in the condition score in 2023.

Feedback provided in the Spotlight Editor is reviewed by the Betterview team to further perfect imagery detections.

Wildfire Vulnerability Score Approved for New Mexico Filings

Configuration: None

User Limitation: None

Availability: Immediate

New Mexico has approved Wildfire Vulnerability score. If a carrier wants to use the score in their plans in New Mexico, the carrier does not need to justify that the score is predictive. Carriers can still use the score in states that Betterview isn’t approved for filing, but there may be additional steps to include the score in a filing.

JMI Integration Available in PartnerHub

Configuration: Needs to be enabled by Betterview and an agreement signed with JMI

User Limitation: None

Availability: Immediate once configurations are enabled

From a profile an underwriter can review the data and trigger a request to JMI for an inspection request. Once the inspection has been completed (PDF), it will be sent to BV and the inspection can be viewed on the profile. A status is listed above the policy number for the property in Betterview.
